Bamboo

Hardwood

The moisture can cause your wallpaper to unpeel from the wall, especially at the seams. Once this occurs, your walls can become a hotbed for mold. If you do choose for wallpaper in your bathroom, stick to a powder room. There are some types of wallpaper that are marketed for bathroom use specifically, so if you must paper your bathroom, definitely opt for this variety.
Carpet

Sadly, it only takes one overflowing sink or toilet to completely destroy your carpeting. Moreover, the condensation in the room will settle on your carpet and eventually lead to the development of mildew and mold. It won’t be long before your carpeted bathroom reeks with must. Instead, opt for washable throw rugs that you can air out regularly.
